Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Paro | Transfer to Thimphu

Drive: Approximately 1.5 hours (55 km)

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, meet your guide and begin a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital city.

Depending on your arrival time, visit:

• Buddha Dordenma

• Memorial Chorten

• Tashichho Dzong

• Craft Bazaar

• Local cafés and town stroll

Overnight: Thimphu

Day 2 – Thimphu to Punakha

Drive: Approximately 2.5–3 hours (75 km)

After breakfast, travel east towards Punakha, crossing the spectacular Dochula Pass (3,100 m), renowned for its 108 memorial chortens and panoramic Himalayan views.

En route and in Punakha, visit:

• Dochula Pass

• Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility)

• Punakha Dzong

• Pho Chhu Suspension Bridge

Enjoy the warmer climate and peaceful riverside scenery of Punakha.

Overnight: Punakha

Day 3 – Punakha to Paro

Drive: Approximately 4.5 hours (125 km)

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning in Punakha before returning to Paro via Dochula Pass.

If time permits, stop at:

• Royal Botanical Park (Lamperi)

• Traditional villages

• Scenic viewpoints along the highway

Arrive in Paro and enjoy a leisurely evening exploring the town.

Overnight: Paro

Day 4 – Explore Paro | Tiger's Nest Monastery

Today is dedicated to Bhutan's most iconic attraction—the breathtaking Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery.

Following the hike, visit:

• Rinpung Dzong

• National Museum (Ta Dzong)

• Kyichu Lhakhang (one of Bhutan's oldest temples)

• Traditional Paro Town

Overnight: Paro

Day 5 – Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your departure.
