Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Paro | Transfer to Thimphu

Drive: Approximately 1.5 hours (55 km)

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and driver. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Paro and Wang Chhu rivers to Thimphu, Bhutan's charming capital.

Depending on your arrival time, visit:

• Buddha Dordenma

• Memorial Chorten

• Tashichho Dzong (outside office hours)

• Centenary Farmers' Market (weekends)

• Craft Bazaar

Overnight: Thimphu

Day 2 – Discover Thimphu

After breakfast, explore the cultural and historical highlights of Bhutan's capital.

Visits include:

• Motithang Takin Preserve

• National Institute for Zorig Chusum (Arts & Crafts School)

• Folk Heritage Museum

• National Textile Museum

• Simply Bhutan Living Museum

• Local cafés and handicraft shops (optional)

Overnight: Thimphu

Day 3 – Thimphu to Paro | Tiger's Nest Monastery

Drive: Approximately 1.5 hours

Return to Paro and embark on Bhutan's most celebrated hike to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliff 900 metres above the valley floor.

After the hike, if time permits, visit:

• Rinpung Dzong

• National Museum of Bhutan (Ta Dzong)

• Traditional Paro Town

Overnight: Paro

Day 4 – Departure

Enjoy breakfast before transferring to Paro International Airport for your onward journey.

Your guide will bid you farewell with wishes for a safe journey and the hope of welcoming you back to Bhutan.
